On behalf of the organizing committee, we are delighted to invite you to join us at the 4th International Conference on Physiotherapy in Oncology (ICPTO), which will be held at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland on April 17th and 18th 2026.
4th International Conference on Physiotherapy in Oncology
ICPTO brings together physiotherapists from around the world to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and discuss the latest scientific advancements in oncology physiotherapy. As cancer treatments and therapies evolve, so too does the need for specialized rehabilitation. Therefore, the overall theme of the 2026 conference is:
'Promoting excellence in oncology physiotherapy in the modern era’
The programme includes plenary sessions, focused symposia, and practical workshops on the evolving roles of physiotherapy in oncology, with a focus on:
- Innovative technologies in cancer rehabilitation,
- Policy and advocacy challenges, including diversity and inclusion,
- Managing musculoskeletal sequelae of cancer treatments, and
- Translating knowledge into clinical practice.
